Good to know

Welcome to Your Rocky Mountain Basecamp! 🏔️ The Tiny Kitchenette 🍳 Tucked cleverly under the loft ladder is a marvel of tiny-space design. You have everything needed to whip up trail meals: a kitchen counter with a sink, a deployable hot plate, an over-the-range vented microwave, a top-freezer fridge, toaster, kettle, and coffee maker. The Alfresco Bathhouse Experience 🚿 Step out of your cabin door and walk 10 feet across your private covered deck to your semi-outdoor washroom! Built directly under the roofline with large open-air cutouts, this space features a beautiful glass corner shower and a premium vented compost toilet. It is entirely unheated and exposed to the fresh mountain air (and the occasional woodland bug!)—giving you the exhilarating thrill of showering in nature with all the privacy you need. Incredible Views & Epic National Park Access 🗺️ Enjoy amazing views of the surrounding mountains and explore our private on-property trails. We are perfectly positioned for day trips to Canada's most famous sights: Yoho National Park: ~30 minutes to the park boundary, ~50 minutes to the main attractions Banff National Park & Lake Louise: Easy day trips for world-class hiking and sightseeing Jasper National Park: Accessible for the ultimate scenic drive up the world renowned Icefields Parkway (Hwy 93 North). Local Golden Adventures 🛶 Want to stay closer to home? We’ve got you covered: Golden Skybridge: Only a 5-minute drive! Golden: 15 minutes away for groceries, downtown dining, and breweries. Outdoor Action: Explore the nearby Blaeberry backcountry, hit Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, or enjoy incredible hiking and cross-country skiing right out our front door. The Property Vibe & Our Pups 🐾 We are proudly dog-friendly! You will likely meet our four friendly dogs who love to roam the woods. Unfortunately cats are not allowed on our property. The property is very quiet and remote, giving you a true off the grid feel. Pardon Our Dust (We're Growing!) 🚧 We are constantly expanding and improving the acreage. You will notice ongoing development, construction activities, and materials on the property as we build out our new units. We're always building something new to make the guest experience even better! Exciting Upgrades! ✨ Private propane fire pits are ready to go, and we are thrilled to announce that a brand-new shared hot tub will be ready for guests arriving in July 2026!

Guest Access

⚠️ Important Notes for Your Glamping Adventure: Seasonal Shelter: To protect the pristine backcountry environment, these bunkies are authentic seasonal shelters. They are not equipped for year-round residency, lack indoor heating systems, and the outdoor bathhouse plumbing is completely shut down before winter. Ladder Access Only: The plush queen bed is located in a sleeping loft accessed strictly via a steep ladder. It is not suitable for individuals with mobility limitations. Deck Access: The cabin is elevated and accessed via a set of stairs from the ground level. Embrace the Elements: Remember, the bathhouse is accessed by walking outside across the deck and is completely open to the outside air. Bring your sense of adventure for those brisk mountain mornings! The Cedar Grove Cabins are private contained units. You are welcome to walk up the road just next to the cabins to use the shared hot tub.
